NYU Law's Moot Court Board's flagship Art of Advocacy series examines advocacy through a personal lens, and aims to explore how legal practitioners, experts, and academics in the field have employed their personal strengths to become effective advocates. This installment features Tali Farhadian Weinstein on advocacy across audiences. The session will be moderated and provide opportunity for Q&A.
Farhadian Weinstein has exceptional and broad experience with advocacy in its different forms. She is an NYU Law adjunct professor, a frequent op-ed contributor, and an advocate, now Of Counsel at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP. Her advocacy experience in public service includes serving as General Counsel of the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, clerk for the Hon. Justice Sandra Day O’Connor of the United States Supreme Court and for the Hon. Merrick B. Garland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, Counsel to Attorney General Eric Holder, and AUSA in the Eastern District of New York. This event will highlight her depth of experience with and perspectives on advocacy.
