Antitrust in Developing and Emerging Economies
NYU Law School and the international antitrust journal Concurrences, in partnership with Elig Gurkaynak Attorneys at Law, will present the 11th edition of antitrust in developing and emerging economies. The webinar, as in past years, explores what developing countries need in terms of competition law and policy; how the law can be tailored to their needs and interests in advancing competition and development for the benefit of their peoples. The keynote will discuss the crisis in food markets in developing countries and new research to identify cross-border competition-related causes. The panel discussion will discuss the price of necessities food, fuel, and the role of antitrust. The webinar will conclude with a closing wrap-up.
