American Constitution Society 1L Picnic

NYU's chapter of the American Constitution Society (ACS), a non-profit and non-partisan organization and nationwide network of progressive lawyers, law students, judges, scholars, and advocates, is hosting a welcome picnic for 1Ls on Friday, Septemer 8th, from 11:30-12:30 p.m. in Washington Square Park. At least one ACS representative will meet students in the courtyard to walk over. We will be serving lunch and eager to introduce 1Ls to current 2L and 3L members.
ACS aims to support and advocate for laws and legal systems that strengthen our democratic legitimacy, uphold the rule of law, and redress the founding failures of our Constitution and enduring inequities in our laws in pursuit of realized equality. We are excited to welcome all 1Ls looking for progressive community; opportunities for networking, mentorship, and career development focused on the multitude of ways to pursue progressive lawyering; advocacy and activism; and speaker events on campus.
