ADA 30th Anniversary Symposium: Panel on Disability & Poverty
The Disability Allied Law Students Association at NYU School of Law is honored to invite you to (virtually) commemorate and reflect upon the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Join us for panels on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23 featuring experts on disability law and incarceration, public health, poverty, and more. We will end the week on Sept. 25 with a keynote by Dr. Peter Blanck and a social hour for networking and fellowship. To receive the joining information and for accommodation requests, please RSVP at this link. Automated captioning will be provided at this event.
Today's panel on disability and poverty will feature Rebecca Cokley of CAP, disability advocate Matthew Cortland, Rupa Valdez of UVA and the Blue Trunk Foundation, and Britney Wilson of NCLEJ. It will be moderated by Deepa Goraya.
This symposium will have a total of up to three New York State CLE credits available in the Areas of Professional Practice category. It will be appropriate for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys. If you plan to seek CLE credit for attendance, you must RSVP at this link.
