Public Interest Legal Career Fair draws students from across the country
The 36th annual Public Interest Legal Career Fair, organized by the Public Interest Law Center, will draw roughly 2,800 students from 21 law schools to NYU Law on February 7 and 8. The nation's largest event of its kind, the PILC Fair attracts more than 230 public interest and government employers from 19 states (including Alaska and Hawaii) and the District of Columbia to meet with prospective summer and full-time employees at information tables and in formal interviews. Job offers often result, and NYU Law alumni frequently return to campus as employers seeking potential hires. The two-day event is so large that it occupies space in four different buildings. Among the participating law schools are Yale Law School, Columbia Law School, Cornell Law School, Fordham University School of Law, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and Brooklyn Law School.
